As you relax in the swing on the country porch of the old house, with the Texas breeze blowing through the 100+ year old Texas Live Oaks, just imagine what life was like for the Carpenter family who built The Beacon Hill House back in the 1800’s. The neighbors were few and the Indians came calling quite often.

Sitting on the edge of the Texas Hill Country, Buda (pronounced Bu-da with a long u) is a quaint Texas town with antiques, restaurants, and lots of Texas hospitality. Not too far away is New Braunfels, San Marcos, and San Antonio. Just down the road past the Beacon Hill House is "The Salt Lick", voted Texas’ Best Barbecue by Texas Monthly. Minutes away in Manchaca is great Mexican food.

Located in the In the middle of bluebonnet country, Beacon Hill House is truly a picture without words. Once you have seen the bluebonnets and the Indian Paintbrush in full bloom you will be back year after year.

Whether you are walking the property or simply relaxing on the porch, you will feel the serenity of years gone by, a childhood forgotten or the lazy days of long ago.

The Beacon Hill House offers you many possibilities, a weekend getaway "just far enough but not too far" weddings, reunions, or private parties. We offer facilities for groups up to 300. We only ask one thing when you visit ------please feed our fish.
